Additive Manufacturing
I have previous experience in fused deposition modeling (FDM) based additive manufacturing (AM) and 3D computer aided design using Siemens' Solid Edge, Shapr3D, Autodesk Fusion 360, and FreeCAD1. In addition to creating renders of models using Blender2. In my education, I have used the Markforged ecosystem to print in:
- PA6 Nylon
- PA6 Carbon Fiber Reinforced Nylon
During my personal time I run a Prusa Research CORE one as my primary FDM printer. Primarily printing in:
- PLA alloys
- PETG
Full Stack Development/Systems Administration
For the past six years or so I have spent about 80% of my free time programming or administering servers. I enjoy using these skills to solve niche problems people have. Some of the technologies that I believe that you may find useful:
- Automation of processes using python, shell scripts
- Web Development using Vue, Nuxt, Vite
- Database Management using PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite
- Server Administration
Education
During my time getting educated I worked with two of my fellow students to create a submersible ROV (pictured) for the Department of Defence and Penn State University's IIRM-URA3. This project was a collaborative effort with many disciplines. Including machining, electronics, programming, and mechanical design. I was personally responsible for the manufacturing, testing, and assembly of the 3D-printed parts on the submersible ROV. Additionally, I was responsible for the programming of the control system.Work Experience
